How do you deliver the food?


Grazing Boxes and Platters are pre prepped and boxed up for delivery. During delivery our boxes and platters are kept in cool boxes and are ready for you to enjoy once received. If you are not consuming immediately, please keep refrigerated until you are ready to enjoy. We recommend consumption within 24 hours.

For our grazing tables, we transport the pre-prepped food keeping cool in transit in our cool boxes which we will then set up upon arrival at the venue.




What is your food hygiene rating?


We are very proud of our 5* food hygiene rating, we also have insurance and all certificates required. hygiene and safety is always our top priority for both ourselves and our clients.




How big are your portion sizes?


We often get asked on how much food do we supply per person. This will be dependent on the event and what we have discussed at the enquiry stage. Our standard Grazing Table package includes a full meal per person and our portion sizes are generous. if you are not looking for a full meal per person, for example, you just want people to enjoy a nibble with a drinks reception - no problem, just let us know your needs upon enquiry stage and we can create a bespoke package perfect for your event.

How do I book?


Submit your enquiry here with as much information as possible and we will get back to you within 48 hours to confirm or discuss your booking.




How far in advance do we need to book?


As soon as you know your date - let us know!

Fridays - Sundays are our busiest days of the week and especially around occasions i.e Christmas or bank holidays. However, last minute bookings are always welcome and always send us a message and we can do our best!




Can you cater for my dietary requirements and allergies?


Of course - please let us know any dietary requirements or allergies during the enquiry stage or at least 1 week prior to the event. For Grazing Tables, all of our food on our tables is labelled for guests to know what is included in each dish, we recommend our Authentic Set Up for Grazing Tables to separate food types and prevent any cross contamination.




I have a budget can you be flexible in your pricing?


Although we pride ourselves on brilliant value for money we totally understand that you may have a budget that you would like to work to. Let us know your budget & requirements & we will work towards a solution for you. This is the beauty of our diverse menu and offerings, we can be flexible to create your perfect package.




What if my booking is cancelled?


For Grazing Tables and Platters, deposits are taken in order to confirm your booking and these are non refundable. If you cancel your booking less than 14 days before unfortunately we cannot issue a refund for the full booking price.

If, in the very unlikely circumstance we were to cancel your booking you would get a 100% refund.

For boxes we take the payment the week of your order to ensure you are still wanting to go ahead. We are unable to therefore make refunds as we would have double checked you would like do go ahead within 7 days prior to the booking.

Yes we do deliver - boxes can be delivered within Hertfordshire and Grazing Tables and Platters can be delivered further across England.

Grazing tables and platters further away than locations above are are charged at £0.45p per mile to and returning from your venue. If your table includes our Authentic set up, a return fee will also be charged unless you are able to return our equipment within 24 hours after your event.




How long will the box last?


For freshness and best quality, we recommend boxes are consumed within 24 hours of delivery as long as they have been refrigerated.




Can we book through Seasons Fruit and Veg?


Yes! Boxes can be delivered through Seasons Fruit and Veg Tuesday - Saturday. You can order for our boxes directly through Seasons Fruit and Veg and delivered to you alongside your Fruit and Veg Box. Our boxes must be delivered as an add on to one of their delicious boxes and please check where they deliver ahead of booking your box. For more info - https://www.seasonsfruitandveg.co.uk





Grazing Platters

How do the grazing platters work?


Grazing platters are prepared in our food preparation kitchen and are boxed ready for delivery. They will arrive in a box and just need to be placed on the surface where you would like the platter to stay for the duration.




How long can platters stay out?


A maximum of 4 hours and then they must be disposed of. If you do not want the platter straight away, they can be kept in the fridge and then taken out when you are ready for them. They then can stay out for a maximum of 4 hours. We recommend displaying them in a shady cool place.

Grazing Tables

How much do I order?


Our grazing tables are generously portioned per person with the intention to be in place of a traditional buffet. If you just want more of a snack portion per person we recommend ordering for less guests, say 25% less than you are expecting at the event, or if you want even more of a substantial meal per person then order for 25% more guests than you are expecting and add ons such as the breads and dips, salads etc.

Upon enquiry please let us know how many people you are expecting and what size meal you would like per person and we can work with you to create the perfect package for you.

How long can my grazing table be left out?


Your grazing table can be enjoyed for 4 hours and then it will need to be disposed of. For celebrations which are are longer we recommend you consider this when ordering - our platters can be a good option if you would like food throughout the duration of your event and you do not want to be disrupted too much. Multiple platters can be purchased to give more of a grazing table feel.




Do you provide tables?


As standard, we do not provide the table for grazing tables, however, we do have the ability to supply tables for an additional charge if needed.




How long does the set up take?


Bite and Graze - we usually allow 1 hour to unload and then between 1 to 2 hours to set up the food display, however, this varies from event to event depending on location and numbers we are catering for.




Do you provide cutlery and plates?


As standard no, however you are more than welcome to upgrade to include our eco friendly plates cutlery and napkins. We can also offer luxury plates which are bamboo plates however these are more luxury so perfect for weddings.




Do you need parking or loading?


Yes, we require a loading space and then a parking space - please let us know with as much notice as possible if this is not available at the event venue.




Do you dispose of anything left over at the end of the event?


For our grazing tables, as standard, the clearing after the event is not Bite Around The World's responsibility. If you need a cleanup service included, please let us know and we can include this within your bespoke package





Street Food

Can I visit you at public events?


We have reduced the number of public events where we will be catering due to how busy we are with private bookings, however we will still be popping up at some of our favourite events. Please take a look at our social media for all updates.




Can I see your menu?


Our menu changes seasonally, so please enquire here for the menu




How much space do you need?


Our outdoor gazebo set up is 3m x 3m and our indoor set up is 3m x 2m we will also need sufficient space for a queue to form in front of the gazebo or indoor frontage.




Do you require electricity?


For indoor events yes, however for outdoor events we usually run from gas therefore we are self sufficient. We will always confirm our requirements ahead of the event.




How long does the set up take?


We usually allow 2 - 3 hours to set up and get the food ready ahead of serving however this is dependent on the type of event, location and how many people we are catering for.
